The Access to State Government Information Initiative is a grant-funded program to provide permanent public access to North Carolina State Government Information. Initiative activities include research and testing of technologies and tools to acquire, manage, preserve, and provide access to both born-digital and digitized information produced by the state agencies of North Carolina.
The grant is administered by the Digital Information Management Program (DIMP), a branch within the Library Services section of the State Library of North Carolina. However, the Initiative would not be possible without the DIMP's many partners in this endeavor.
The Initiative is funded by the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) Statewide Leadership Grant.
