1960 Enumeration District Map

Maps of each county in the state were subdivided into townships and enumeration districts.

Townships are numbered and named.

Enumeration districts were the area assigned to an individual enumerator. The average ED contains approximately 200 housing units. EDs were given alpha-numeric designations.

The maps in this collection show the boundaries for townships (example: TWP.1 PATTERSON) and for enumeration districts (example: 77 and 78). The townships correspond to column 5 (Area Name) and the enumeration districts correspond to column 7 in the 1960 Data by Enumeration District report, also available in this collection.
