The "Digital Insider" newsletter is published by the staff of the Digital Information Management Program at the State Library of North Carolina.

The “digital world” is infiltrating every aspect of our work in state government, and this is no less so at the State Library. In response, the Digital Information Management Program (DIMP) launched this newsletter in 2008 to keep Library staff and others in North Carolina state government informed about digitization projects, the management of our born-digital government publications, and the tools, applications, and systems the State Library is using to perform this work.

In addition, we’ll provide insight on future investigations and partnerships, and keep you up-to-date on what our colleagues at state libraries and archives and other state agencies around the U.S. are doing.
