Government Information
The Government and Heritage Library (GHL) has two government publications collections.
State Government Information
The GHL is legislatively mandated to serve as the official permanent depository for all state publications. Through the North Carolina State Publications Clearinghouse program, the Library collects and catalogs print and digital publications and distributes publications to members of the depository system throughout North Carolina.

Federal Government Documents
The GHL is a member of the Federal Depository Library Program, and has over 500,000 items in its Federal Government Documents collection.
