NC State Government Publications Clearinghouse
The Clearinghouse collects, catalogs, and makes available North Carolina agency publications through a statewide depository system for print materials and through the North Carolina State Government Publications Collection for digital materials. This collection currently has +250,000 print volumes and +13,000 digital volumes.
Created by GS 125-11, the Clearinghouse became effective on October 1, 1987. The law designates the Government and Heritage Library as the official permanent depository for all state publications.
