Summer and Anytime Reading Program 2011
Adult Reading - Novel Destinations!
Starting a new tradition! NCLBPH presents a Reading Program for Adults in 2011 - Novel Destinations! From September 1st – November 30, 2011 adults can have fun reading, travel the world in a book and win prizes.
Registration opens September 1, 2011. To register, complete a form and mail it back to the library or call 919-733-4376 or 1-888-388-2460.
We encourage you to check out some of our great books, including fiction or non-fiction with a global or travel theme. These books may be set in exotic locales; may be mysteries set in other countries; may be foreign books translated into English; or may be books that explore the cultures and materials of other countries, such as foreign foods, exotic spices, coffees or chocolates.
When you have read a certain number of books, your name is entered into a raffle for prizes, including computer flash drives or gift cards. Additional prizes will be awarded to the top three readers who have read the most books.
Kids Summer Reading - One World, Many Stories!
Thanks to all for making NCLBPH presents Summer Reading Program 2011 - One World, Many Stories! a success. The kids enjoyed it and so did the library. This very successful program will return next summer.
