Job Search Toolkit
Welcome to the Job Search Toolkit developed by the State Library of North Carolina with ongoing contributions from library staff across the state. This toolkit is designed to provide resources that help library staff respond to the increasing needs of job seekers in their communities. The toolkit was developed to support the Job Search Workshops presented in nine public libraries across the state of North Carolina in March 2009.
The toolkit includes links to Internet resources, NC LIVE career information and e-books, selected books, and what other libraries are doing.
Resources libraries can use to help their community get back to work:
- Getting started
- Where to find jobs
- How to fill out job applications
- How to prepare resumes and cover letters
- Interview tips
- Selected books
This Job Search Toolkit is brought to you by the following partners:
