Statewide Summer Reading Program (SRP)
North Carolina is a member of Collaborative Summer Library Program. The State Library of North Carolina sponsors four regional Summer Reading Program workshops to help prepare youth services professionals across the state for an action-filled summer.

Special Announcement
The State Library of North Carolina will withdraw children's videos from the collection beginning February 2009. Withdrawn videos will be boxed and offered to interested public libraries after February 2010. Details are available on the Video Services page.
