These bookmarks are an excellent way to keep the look and feel of the campaign in the minds of your visitors long after they leave the library building. They've been created with a variety of printing capabilities in mind . . . they're available in black & white and in full, vivid color (two- and four-color versions), and you can print them from your own printer or even have them professionally printed locally. Here are a few options for you:
One-sided bookmarks - Use the side with the questions and simply print to a laser printer, as you would a regular document. You'll have to cut them out, of course. Your best bet is to use a bulk cutter, rather than scissors.
Two-sided bookmarks - Print side 1 to laser printer from this file, then turn the sheets over and print side 2 on the back so the bookmarks match back-to-front and top-to-bottom. It may take a couple of tries to get them matched up correctly, so it's a good idea to do a test print before sending, say, fifty to the printer. Afterwards, you'll need to use a bulk cutter to separate the bookmarks.
Color bookmarks - Same as above. For the highest quality print job, though, your best bet is to contact a local offset printer (like Alphagraphics or Sir Speedy) and have them professionally printed. Make sure to tell the printer the quantity you'd like of each bookmark, and bring a mock-up of one bookmark so the printer will know how to set up the proof. You should have the printer print the bookmarks on card stock, which is heavier and more resilient than regular copy paper. You can download the files to take to the printshop or just give them the URL for this page (http://statelibrary.dcr.state.nc.us/ld/youth/vbps/templates/templates.htm) and have them download the files.
Use your acrylic counter display to present the bookmarks.
