The State Library of North Carolina, a division of the Department of Cultural Resources, is pleased to announce Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) grant awards for 2007-2008. One hundred and fifty-seven (157) applications were considered in fifteen categories and requests for funds totaled $4,890,333. One hundred forty-six (146) projects have been approved for funding totaling $4,629,570. These awards are made possible by LSTA grant funding from the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), a federal grant making agency.
