LSTA POWERFUL PARTNERS MINI-GRANT AWARDS, 1999-2000
February 14, 2000
The State Library is pleased to announce awards of LSTA Powerful Partners Mini-Grants for 1999-2000. Twenty-one (21) applications were submitted and all have been approved for funding. The Mini-Grants are a second step, following an initial Fall 1999 workshop, to help libraries build community partnerships that address the needs of children and teens in North Carolina. These mini-grants will support participation of community-based teams in a follow-up workshop in March 2000 to develop additional skills and support project planning. Plans developed during the spring 2000 workshop will enable teams to apply for grants to support local collaborative projects during 2000-2001.
