The NCDATA listserv is provided by the joint efforts of the North Carolina State Data Center, its Affiliate Network and the State Library of North Carolina as a forum for the discussion of Census data and demographics issues and questions. The list also carries announcements about upcoming data releases and news from the Census Bureau as well as local training opportunities. All Affiliates of the State Data Center are part of the listserv and serve as resources to the public. They may often be able to answer questions about their regions better than we can here at the state level. The listserv can also provide us with information about topics we need to address in training when we see recurring questions on a theme. Collecting, understanding and interpreting data can be extremely complex. We hope NCDATA will be a valuable tool in helping you with your work or research.
