Access and Reference Services at the Government & Heritage Library

Patron reading newspapers

All researchers may use our materials and electronic databases in house while North Carolina state agency employees are able to check materials out of the library or utilize remote access to many of our electronic databases. State agency staff may also request items via interlibrary loan. Books are circulated directly to state agency staff in the Raleigh area, but may be requested via interlibrary loan and borrowed from other libraries across the state. The library's extensive collection of human resources videos may be loaned to state agency staff in other locations.
