Talking Book Number: DB 85246

Twenty years ago, Nick Hansen lost his beloved girlfriend Marissa in a college house fire.  Fast forward to present day, when Nick sees a woman in a grocery store who is a near identical copy of Marissa.  Though this woman is clearly not Marissa, as she appears to be younger than a present-day Marissa would be, the resemblance is uncanny.  The next morning, the police show up at Nick’s door to inform him that a woman was found dead in a local motel room with a note inside her pocket containing Nick’s name and address.  The police show Nick a picture of the woman, and Nick immediately realizes that she is the same woman, Marissa’s doppelganger, that he saw in the grocery store the night before.  Who is this mystery woman who looks so much like Nick’s beloved Marissa?  Find out by ordering this title online through the book link at the top, by calling NCLBPH and requesting a copy or by downloading the title from BARD.
