  • Search the Catalog - the library has an online catalog that allows you to search, find and even download more than 100,000 digital talking, braille and large print books covering fiction and non-fiction. The catalog is your oyster. Open it and Get Reading!!!
  • Berkov's Bookshelf - Collections Librarian Joshua Berkov shares his picks, insight and reviews of series, authors, and new titles coming to the library's shelves.
  • Digital Talking Book Player - Enjoy clean, crisp, wonderful, fully accessible, digital talking books on your very own free NLS Digital Talking Book Player.
  • Download Books and Magazines -  Why wait for your items in the mail? Download your books and magazines so you can play them when you want them on a Digital Talking Book Player or on your iPhone, iPad, Kindle or Android mobile device.
  • Heard Any Good Books Lately? - is regular podcast produced by Triangle Radio Reading Service and brought to you by the Friends of NCLBPH. It features information about new and the most popular books checked out of the library and other interesting stories about older books.
  • Reader's Corner - Useful resources for readers. Dedicated to the reader and their needs.
  • Staff Picks - Can't think of what to read next? Here's something handpicked for your next read by our Staff.
  • Summer Reading - Join the library's Annual Summer Reading program. Adults, Teens and Kids, read books and earn prizes!!!
  • Talking Book Topics - Talking Book Topics lists digital talking books and magazines available through NLS and carries news of developments and activities in services to people who are blind, visually impaired, or cannot read standard print material because of an organic physical disability.
  • Top Tens (10) - The Top 10 Most Wanted list, Top 10 Most Read BARD list and all kinds of other Best Seller Lists. See what everyone is reading, what's popular. 
  • VIP Book Club - Raleigh Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources’ Visually Impaired Program and the library present the VIP Book Club.
