Librarian III / Youth Services Coordinator - Henderson County Public Library


Performs difficult administrative, supervisory, and professional library work to coordinate provision of youth and young adult services for the County Public Library; plans, organizes, supervises, and directs the youth services programs of the County library program and its assigned staff and volunteers; plans, directs, schedules, and supervises children’s and young adult scheduled and unscheduled programs and events; provides technical and reference assistance associated with youth services to patrons; performs related work as required. Work is performed under general supervision. Exercises limited supervision of the assigned subordinate and volunteer staff. Reports to the Library Director.

Qualifications: Any combination of education and experience equivalent to Master’s degree in library science from an American Library Association accredited school or from a regionally accredited school of higher education with a minimum of 3 years experience in professional library work.

Salary: $44,070.00
