Library Manager II - North Davidson Public Library, Davidson County Public Library System


Performs responsible professional librarian and managerial work at the North Davidson Library Branch. An employee in this class is responsible for planning, organizing and managing all operations including supervising staff. Work generally requires the employee to plan and implement programs to meet the public’s needs; develop, maintain and weed the library’s collection; and train, schedule and supervise staff. Work is performed under general supervision of the Library Director.

Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited college with a four-year degree and a graduate degree in Library Science or Library and Information Studies with a Master’s degree preferred, or related field and some experience managing a library branch or related supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Salary: $42,941.28
