Description: The Interlibrary Loan Borrowing Assistant works as an integral part of the Duke University Libraries Interlibrary Request Unit. Primary responsibilities include processing requests for Duke University patrons for library materials from other institutions and electronic delivery requests for Duke patrons. Additional responsibilities include supporting scanning operations for electronic delivery; assisting specialized ILL staff with supervision of student assistants and monitoring financial transactions arising from loaned and requested material, and maintaining documentation and training materials related to their work.
Qualifications: Two years post-secondary education or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. Requires one year of library experience to obtain specialized knowledge of library systems and procedures; excellent.
Salary: $19.34 / hour
