Reference & Electronic Resources Librarian - Wiggins Library, Campbell University
Description: The Reference and Electronic Resources Librarian will act as the library liaison to various academic departments’ students and faculty (primarily in STEM fields) delivering reference services and information literacy instruction, creating instructional materials in a variety of formats, and developing subject related collections. The incumbent will work with a collaborative Reference and Instruction team to develop forward-looking, user-focused library services. The incumbent is also responsible for the acquisition and management of the main library’s electronic resources collection. This fulltime, 12-month non-tenure track faculty position reports to the Head of Research and Instruction Services.
Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited program. An undergraduate or graduate degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics, or relevant professional work experience, desired. Demonstrated knowledge of key issues, emerging pedagogy trends, and best practices in information literacy instruction and assessment, desired. Experience with electronic resource management, desired.
