Description: The Reference and Instruction Librarian will act as the library liaison to various academic departments’ students and faculty (primarily in STEM fields) delivering reference services and information literacy instruction, creating instructional materials in a variety of formats, and developing subject related collections. The incumbent will work with a collaborative Reference and Instruction team to develop forward-looking, user-focused library services. This full-time, 12-month non-tenure track faculty position reports to the Head of Research and Instruction Services.
Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited program. An undergraduate or graduate degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics, or relevant professional work experience desired. Demonstrated knowledge of information resources in science, technology, and engineering desired. Experience in higher education desired.
