Description: This position provides technical leadership for and works in collaboration with others to manage a suite of information systems employed by the library, including the library catalog, special and digital collections platforms, and library discovery tools, as well as integrating them with campus systems. The person will serve as lead contact with systems vendors and library/campus colleagues to troubleshoot library technology problems, manage data exchange, system security, and applicable system upgrades. The position will play a key role in the migration, setup and ongoing support for a next-gen shared Library Services Platform. The position is responsible for ensuring the library stays up to date with all IT identity management and security requirements as they evolve. The position will work with the Web and User Experience Librarian to ensure the library’s web presence provides patrons a successful and effective research experience. This is a 12-month tenure track Assistant Professor position.

Qualifications: American Library Association-accredited Master’s degree in Library and Information Science, or equivalent, is strongly preferred; however, special consideration will be given to applicants with advanced degrees in IT management, computer science, or related fields if combined with relevant professional experience.

Salary: $65,000 - $70,000
