Description: Alamance County Public Libraries (ACPL) is seeking a Branch Manager, Librarian II for the Mebane Public Library. The Branch Manager oversees the daily operation of the branch including staffing, building maintenance and customer service. The Branch Manager serves as the public face of the branch and must be comfortable serving diverse populations equitably. Alamance County Public Libraries functions as a department of Alamance County (N.C.) Government.
Qualifications: Completion of a Master’s degree in Library Science from an ALA accredited institution. At least two years as a professional librarian with supervisory responsibilities. Ability to acquire certification by the North Carolina Public Librarian Certification Commission. Flexibility in scheduling is required. Ability to speak Spanish is desired.
Salary: $43,510 - $48,000
