Description: Are you a library professional with a passion for working with children and seeking part time employment (20 hours per week)? WCPL is seeking four part time Librarians to create and deliver quality programming for children birth to teen and work on a busy service desk offering reference, readers’ advisory and circulation assistance. Librarians are offered the opportunity to collaborate with managers and peers; and participate in system initiatives, though on a more limited basis with a part time schedule. Current opportunities are at the following locations: Cary Regional Library, Cary (2 positions); Duraleigh Road Community Library, Raleigh; and Zebulon Community Library, Zebulon.
Qualifications: Master's degree in Librarianship or related field: MLS, MLIS, MIS, ML from an ALA-accredited program or NC program. No specific experience required. Equivalent education and experience are NOT accepted.
