Gale Analytics for Public Libraries
The State Library of North Carolina is pleased to offer access to Gale Analytics and targeted training allowing libraries to pair their Integrated Library System (ILS) data with deep demographic and market segmentation insights. Due to cost, access is limited. Libraries must apply for access, identify a local initiative that would be enhanced by Gale Analytics, and commit to attending virtual training events.
Apply for Gale Analytics Access
Additionally, participating libraries must submit a short progress report of how access to Gale Analytics supported their local work in April 2022.
The support available for this project includes:
- implementation training
- topical training such as using Gale Analytics to support development of outreach services
- informal user group meetings (state and national groups)
- virtual mini-conference to share and highlight achievements sponsored by SLNC
NOTE: This is a two year project spanning fiscal years 2022 and 2023.
This project was made possible by funding from the federal Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) as administered by the State Library of North Carolina, a division of the N.C. Department of Natural and Cultural Resources (IMLS grant number LS-249980-OLS-21).
