Literary Trails of North Carolina Guidebooks

The Literary Trails of North Carolina Guidebooks are a three-volume series written by Georgann Eubanks on behalf of the North Carolina Arts Council and published by UNC Press in 2007, 2010, and 2013. Organized geographically, the guidebooks direct readers to literary sites across North Carolina’s Mountain, Piedmont, and Eastern regions. Each trail includes context and history, excerpts of text, directions, information on the town or county, and other notable places to visit nearby.

In this volume, eighteen trails lead readers across North Carolina's western region from Cherokee to Asheville, Crumpler to Hickory--with stops at Black Mountain College, Junaluska Memorial and Museum, Riverside Cemetery, and Lanier Library.
