Description: This position will be an intricate part of the revitalization of the library and the access services department. Essential job functions are to provide public service at all Library Service points as directed, needed or required, establish and implement Circulation Desk/ Access Services Procedures including interlibrary loan guidelines, and processing and preparing items for “reserve,” collect statistics related to circulation, course reserves, and ILL usage, network with teaching and research faculty in assigned programs and schools to promote library programming and resources, communicate effectively with faculty, students, staff and administrators, participate as a departmental liaison for faculty Position Description and students in designated subjects, create LibGuides as directed, direct work study students in assigned tasks, and other duties as assigned. Schedule is Sunday (12 pm-8 pm), Monday through Thursday (1 pm to 10 pm), and Intersession: M-F (8 am to 5 pm).
Qualifications: Master's degree from an ALA-accredited program or equivalent master's degree in an information-related field preferred.
Salary: $46,000 - $47,000
