Description: Currently reporting to the Associate Dean, the Access Services Manager manages the day-to-day operations of functional areas within the Access Services division. The Library Access Services Manager has overall responsibility and accountability for providing planning and direction within the department, with an emphasis on ensuring quality service for patrons. The scope of responsibility includes Circulation and Interlibrary Loan. Participates in the development, recommendation, and administration of division policies, procedures, and processes. Works collaboratively with College departments, the community, and/or external agencies. Supervises and evaluates 7 direct reports and serves on Library committees as requested. The Library Access Services Manager should be a team-builder with deep experience serving diverse populations in changing student populations and a keen interest in advancing and enhancing the department’s focus on equitable practices, diversity, and inclusion. The manager should be committed to creating a welcoming environment for all stakeholders and be able to lead a committee on building safety and operations
Qualifications: Graduation from a four-year college or university and one year of experience in a library or archives and/or records management; or high school and five years experience in a library or archives and/or records management; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Salary: $45,000 - $50,000
