Description: The Forsyth Technical Community College Library is seeking a collaborative, serviceoriented librarian to manage the library’s collections. The successful candidate will be able to provide broad oversight in all areas of academic library collections, including the selection, acquisition, and preservation of print and electronic materials for general and special collections. This position helps to maintain a friendly and welcoming environment in the library. As part of the Library Services team, the Acquisition Librarian will value innovation and collaboration and commit themselves to foster an environment that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion. This position will report to the Makerspace Librarian. This is a grant-funded role through 2023.

Qualifications: Master’s degree in Library Science and two years’ experience working in libraries. Proficient in cataloging and processing; budgeting and tracking spending. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with library colleagues, faculty, students, and the public by providing excellent customer service.
