Adult Program Coordinator - Mauney Memorial Library

Description: The Adult Services Program Coordinator is responsible for developing, coordinating, executing and evaluating adult programming that meets the needs of the community. Works with various community organizations and other outside vendors to bring in speakers and presenters, virtually and in-person. Assists in promoting the collection and services through creative displays, bibliographies; print/online marketing. Develops and executes the library book club, seed library and is an administrator of the KM Community Garden. May participate in community events and other outreach opportunities as needed. Works the Adult Service desk as assigned, approximately 20 hours per week.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree with preference given to candidates with a Masters in Library Science; at least two years of library experience is required with preference given for a candidate with considerable experience in a library.

Salary: $38,000-$40,000 depending upon qualifications
