Description: The Ask Us Librarian provides leadership and management for Ask Us services across two main library locations. They develop proactive services to support the academic, professional, and personal success of a large and diverse student population. The incumbent leads in directing and coordinating in-person and virtual reference services and maintains high customer service standards. They manage the textbook and course reserves service. They directly supervise at least one paraprofessional staff member and collaborate with the Associate Head, Access Services on overseeing the work of Ask Us Service Managers from all departments within the Student Success division, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment with strong communication. The Ask Us Librarian engages with users and analyzes and acts on feedback and library usage and reference trends. They work in close cooperation with Research Engagement, Acquisitions and Discovery, and Information Technology staff and with other public services managers and staff.
Qualifications: ALA-accredited MLS, MIS, or equivalent advanced degree.
