Description:
The Assessment and Liaison Librarian will serve as a liaison to several academic departments at UNCG, with a focus on the social sciences, including potential areas in the Bryan School of Business and Economics and/or the School of Education. In this role, they will teach course-integrated information literacy sessions, provide research assistance and basic data discovery support to the students and faculty in their liaison areas, and assist with collection management. This position will also guide renewed departmental efforts to assess student learning and support ROI colleagues in their own student learning assessment work. They will also contribute to the Libraries’ active student success and outreach efforts.
Qualifications:
Required ALA-Accredited Master of Library Science degree
Required experience providing reference services
Prefer experience providing information literacy instruction
Prefer experience working in an academic library
Prefer ability to proficiently speak English and Spanish
Salary: $60,000/year
