Description: Patron Services such as computer-based library tasks including materials circulation; reader’s advisory; information retrieval; assistance with computer software; internet use and electronic devices; photocopying services. Programming consisting of planning and execution of programs for all ages but primarily children ages 1 – 11. Management duties such as assisting branch manager daily or in her absence with staff supervision, reports, collection maintenance & development, materials processing. Additional duties as assigned. Work is performed under the supervision of the Branch Manager.
Qualifications: Associate’s Degree. Excellent computer skills, mobile electronics & social media skills; 2 years working with the public; 2 years producing educational programs; 1 year supervisory experience. Must be a team-player; enjoy working with the public; detail-oriented; multitask; lift 30 lbs. Valid NC driver's license. Preferred: 4-year bachelor’s degree.
