Description: Position serves as branch manager of a community library. Responsibilities include but are not limited to supervision of library staff that provide services to the public, management of circulation, and acquisition activities, monitoring of the physical facility, preparation of reports, and participation in committees and meetings. Work is performed under the supervision of the Library Director. Some evening and weekend hours may be required.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with supervisory experience or equivalent experience and skills necessary to manage a library. Strong time management, organizational, interpersonal, and computer/ social media skills. Willing to work in and promote a team environment within the facility and the department. Must exercise initiative, good judgment, the delivery of excellent customer service.
