Description: The Library Branch Manager is responsible for the efficient and effective operation of a library branch/section. This position supervises the public service operations which includes circulation, scheduling meeting/work spaces and the delivery of library services and programs for children, teens and adults. This position is responsible for scheduling and evaluating staff, participating on the Library's Managers Team, leading and/or assisting in the approval, development, delivery and evaluation of branch/ section-specific programs and serving on special committees or project teams as assigned by Library Administration. The person in this position should be detail-oriented, emotionally intelligent, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be knowledgeable about current library trends and practices, and work well independently and collaboratively. The Branch Manager should provide excellent customer service and engage with colleagues and the community. This position also helps monitor assigned branch/section budget. Coaching, development of staff, fostering teamwork is also a requirement. 

Qualifications: Master's Degree in Library and Information Studies (MLIS) Experience using library ILS (i.e. Horizon) Supervisory experience. 

Salary: $50,020.00 - $89,510.00
