Description: An employee in this position performs professional and technical work to plan, organize, manage, and direct the operations, programs, services, and personnel of the Erwin Public Library, a branch of the Harnett County Public Library system. Work includes developing and monitoring budget resources, planning and implementing overall library goals and objectives, and oversight of staff and services. Work is performed under general supervision of the Harnett County Library Director and performance is evaluated on the basis of attainment of specific performance objectives, personal observation, feedback from users, stake holders and employees.
Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Library Science from an ALA Accredited or approved equivalent graduate school, North Carolina Public Library Certification, experience managing a library branch or related supervisory experience and possession of a valid North Carolina driver's license.
