Description
The Greene County Public Library Branch Manager provides friendly and helpful library services to patrons while working the public desk, including information services, reader’s advisory, technology assistance, circulation of materials, and more. They plan and present diverse and creative programming for all ages, as well as promote and provide outreach services. The Branch Manager assists with collection development while complying with budget parameters, and performs collection maintenance such as inventory and weeding in accordance with professional standards. They supervise subordinates and volunteers, and enforce operational policies and procedures.
Qualifications
A four (4) year degree or an equivalent combination of experience and training
North Carolina driver’s license acquired within 30 days of employment
Prospective employee is required to submit to and pass a background and drug test prior to employment
Salary
$34,500-$38,400 / Annually
