Description: Under the general direction of the Library Director, the Branch Manager is responsible for daily operations at the Swansboro Branch Library including supervising, training, and scheduling staff, providing information and services, and modeling customer service. The successful Branch Manager provides leadership for Branch staff and managing the overall service plan and operation of the agency, which includes collection development and maintenance, services and programs, customer and community relations, outreach and partnership development, and oversight of the general maintenance and security of the library facility.
Qualifications: Master's degree in in library science from an ALA-accredited college and 2 years' experience in supervision of subordinate personnel, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Applicants with Bachelor's Degree and comparative library supervisory experience will be considered.
Salary: $48,486.76 - $63,033.44
