DESCRIPTION
The Business Librarian is a member of the Research & Instruction Division and serves as the primary liaison to the Walker College of Business (WCoB). With attention to the University’s new R2 status, the person in this role supports the research and instructional needs of students and faculty by providing course-integrated instruction, individual and group research consultations, and broad outreach for the programs and centers supporting the WCoB's departments. The position will collaborate closely with social sciences librarians and serve as a member of the University Libraries’ Collections Council to lead collection development for business disciplines and ensure strategic alignment of business resources with evolving curricular and research priorities. QUALIFICATIONS
The minimum qualifications are an ALA-accredited master’s degree or equivalent advanced degree and meeting criteria for assistant or associate professor as stated in the Appalachian State University Faculty Handbook. SALARY
$54,000 - 63,000 for assistant professor and $68,000 - 72,000 for associate professor.
