Description: In a dynamic, primarily virtual library environment, the librarian in this position provides innovative information services that facilitate the teaching, research, clinical care, and service mission of the organization. The individual will serve as part of a team that provides specialized information services for health and human service professionals throughout Western North Carolina and in support of MAHEC’s initiatives and clinics, residency and fellowship programs, and UNC Health Sciences at MAHEC’s programs. This is a full-time position, and a hybrid schedule is encouraged.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in Library & Information Sciences or advanced degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent education and experience. Experience in a healthcare setting or demonstrated knowledge of health sciences information resources. Ability to thrive in a complex and changing environment. Salary: $53,700
