Description: North Carolina Wesleyan College invites applications for a Collection Development Librarian. This is a full-time, tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor. This librarian is responsible for developing, assessing, maintaining, and ensuring access to print, media, and electronic resources, including the library’s online databases and periodical collections. This librarian also works with faculty in all disciplines to build library collections to support the library’s mission; compiles statistical data and assesses library collections; works to determine the need for new resources to support the college curriculum; and collaborates with other library staff to promote library resources and services.
Qualifications: Candidates must have a master’s degree in library or information science from an ALA-accredited institution. 1-3 years of experience in an academic library is preferred.
