Description: Under the general supervision of the Associate Dean for Collection Services, the Collection Strategist leads evidence-based content acquisition, management, and assessment regardless of format or delivery platform and contributes to budget planning and management. The strategist guides collection development, manages decision making, designs assessment strategies, and analyzes quantitative and qualitative data to inform and substantiate the strategic allocation of the Library’s collections budget and current holdings.
Qualifications: The minimum academic credential required for applicants is completion of a master’s degree in the field of library and information science from a program accredited by the American Library Association by time of application. Only an MLS or MLIS degree will be considered for this position.
