Description: The Collection Unit Manager serves as the supervisor to the Collection Management Unit and directs the coordination of unit staff to support the mission of the Government & Heritage Library (GHL). The position directly supervises unit staff responsible for performing acquisitions and serials check-in functions, materials conservation, and preservation activities, shelving, and filing The position manages the library’s genealogy, NC government and history, government documents print, and microform collections.
Qualifications: Master's degree in library and information science or a related discipline from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of professional librarian experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Salary: $42,780 - $62,191
