Description: Liaison to select departments in the College of Engineering, and other affinity and interdisciplinary programs. Leads collaborative collection development and management in engineering including selection, evaluation, negotiation, and promotion of collections across formats and in collaboration with faculty, students, and university staff. Collaboratively plan and deliver innovative, responsive library services to faculty and students. Serves on cross-departmental teams to support interdisciplinary teaching and research initiatives. Collaborate with Research Engagement librarians and other key library partners in collection development and service assessment activities. Contribute to departmental projects and teams; participate in library planning; and serve on library-wide committees, task forces, and teams. Deeply considers how their approach to their daily work reflects and advances the Libraries’ core values of equity, diversity, and inclusion, creating an environment and community that is welcoming for both patrons
and colleagues alike.
Qualifications: ALA-accredited MLS, MIS, or equivalent advanced degree.
