Description: Performs administrative and supervisory work and plans and directs the activities and programs of the Currituck County Library, with three locations – Barco, Corolla and Moyock. Supervises staff, acts as representative of the library and seeks library involvement throughout the community. Serves as department head, responsible for budgeting, selection of materials and evaluating personnel. Reports to the Regional Library Director. Currituck County, North Carolina is located in northeastern North Carolina, and located near the Hampton Roads, Virginia metropolitan area (Norfolk, Virginia Beach) as well as the beaches of North Carolina's Outer Banks. Qualifications: Requires MLS from ALA-accredited institution. Prior public library and supervisory experience preferred. Must qualify for North Carolina Public Librarian Certification.
Salary: $48,174
