Description: Performs administrative and supervisory work. Plans and directs the activities and programs of the library branch in Hoke County, as well as off campus sites and the bookmobile. The branch is located in Raeford, NC. Manages staff, acts as a representative of the library, and seeks library involvement throughout the county. Will serve as department head, responsible for budgeting, selection of materials, requisitioning funds, and evaluating personnel. A technology-driven, detail-oriented team player is needed for this position. Reports to the Library Director.
Qualifications: A MLS/MLIS from an ALA-accredited or State University institution. Prior public library and supervisory experience strongly preferred. Must qualify for certification by the North Carolina Public Library Certification Board.
Salary: $40,000 - $42,000
