Description: Through dynamic and innovative leadership, the Curator develops, stewards, and advances engagement with Economics collections held in the David M. Rubenstein Rare Book & Manuscript Library. The Curator is based in the Collection Development Department of the Rubenstein Library and reports to the Rubenstein Library Curator of Collections. The Curator works in close collaboration with the Center for the History of Political Economy (CHOPE) at Duke. The Curator proactively seeks to include a diversity of voices and viewpoints in collections, instruction, and public programing and facilitates access for users from different backgrounds and with different access needs.

Qualifications: The position requires candidates to have an advanced degree in a relevant discipline such as Economics, History, Liberal Studies, or Archives Administration, or they should possess an MLS from an ALA-accredited program. Applicants must have a background in advanced research (or its equivalent) in the field and history of Economics. Additionally, they should have prior experience conducting research in an archive setting and teaching at the college level.

Salary: $56,000 - $80,000
