Description: Performs administrative and supervisory work and also plans and directs the activities and programs of the Currituck County Library. Supervises staff, acts as representative of the library and seeks library involvement throughout the community. Serves as department head, responsible for budgeting, selection of materials and evaluating personnel. Reports to the Regional Library Director. Will began review of applications on August 25, 2022.
Qualifications: Requires MLS from ALA-accredited institution. Prior public library and supervisory experience preferred. Must qualify for North Carolina Public Librarian Certification.
Salary: $49,860
