Description: Reporting to the Head of Digital Scholarship and Research Data Services, this individual will develop and provide services that support students, faculty and researchers in the discovery, use, preservation, and visualization of data. The individual will coordinate and teach instruction sessions and programming related to research data management and data visualization and will provide consultations for researchers in collaboration with subject librarians. This is a twelve-month, tenure-track faculty position. The faculty rank of the candidate selected will be determined based on the candidate’s experience. The work schedule includes some evenings and weekends.
Qualifications: ALA-accredited master’s or other advanced degree appropriate to the position. Experience with data management and data visualization in scholarly settings. Understanding of the library’s role in research data services.
Salary: $55,000
