DESCRIPTION

Do you enjoy wrangling data and making sense of it? Do you geek out over databases, websites, and finding ways to make systems work better? Do you want to gain hands-on experience in an environment where your ideas and contributions are highly valued? If so, keep reading!
This role offers a unique opportunity to build hands-on experience in maintaining research databases, systems and web development, and special projects. The internship is ideal for candidates pursuing graduate studies in library and information science, business, computer science, or related fields.

QUALIFICATIONS

Current enrollment as a graduate student in a college or university; preferred fields include library and information science, business, or computer science.
Residency in North Carolina.
Strong understanding of data integrity and a keen attention to detail.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
A customer-oriented attitude and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Preferred: 

Curiosity and a forward-thinking, creative mindset.
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (especially Word and Excel).
Experience with relational databases, CRM systems (HubSpot), and content management systems (Drupal) is an asset.
