Description: We are seeking an outgoing, friendly individual with the ability to build rapport with a diverse community and staff, and encourage an overall positive library/museum environment. The Library Deputy Director will foster collaborative relationships with other City departments, represent the library on various local nonprofit organizations and be committed to advancing the library's mission in the community. This senior level manager reports to the Library Director and oversees the public services and operations of the Library Department, which includes Central Library and seven branches. This manager serves as the senior member of the library leadership team and works closely with the Library Director to manage the department's annual work plan and the strategic plan.

Qualifications: Master's Degree with 4 to 6 years professional public library experience. Bachelor's Degree with 10 or more years of increasingly responsible professional library experience in a public library. 3 years administrative level library position; budget preparation and management. 4 years supervisory experience. 3 years experience managing organizational change.

Salary: $87,731 - $116,974
